Dr. Nico Rottke, BSc, Chiropractic Physician
Originally from Germany, Dr. Rottke was raised throughout North America—living in Toronto, Seattle, and Cleveland— eventually returning to Europe where he completed his International Baccalaureate (IB®) in Switzerland and Germany. It was during these formative years that he played elite-level ice hockey, competing in AAA leagues throughout the U.S. and representing Germany on the U-16, U-17, and U-18 national teams. After experiencing several sports-related injuries himself, Dr. Rottke developed a deep appreciation for chiropractic care and its role in injury recovery and performance optimization. This led Dr. Rottke to pursue his academic foundation in health sciences at Brock University in Ontario, Canada, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (honors). While studying at Brock University, he was part of the Student Sports Medicine Athletic Therapy Program, where he provided sideline support and treatment for the university’s wrestling team. His time at Brock University deepened his understanding of human movement, performance, and rehabilitation, laying the groundwork for his chiropractic career.
Dr. Rottke went on to earn his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Pinellas Park, Florida. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was honored as Salutatorian of his class—a testament to both his academic excellence and commitment to clinical care. Dr. Rottke earned second place in the Tom Hyde Sports Research Poster Contest, hosted by the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council, for his research on functional ankle instability and its connection to athletic injuries. He is a certified provider in Active Release Technique (ART®) and is currently pursuing additional credentials in Dry Needling and becoming a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®).
With a unique blend of personal athletic experience and evidence-based training, Dr. Rottke is passionate about helping patients recover from injury, enhance performance, and achieve long-term wellness. He takes a patient-centered approach, tailoring care plans to individual needs with the goal of restoring function, reducing pain, and improving quality of life.
